What warranty does Volta Electric provide on it’s services?

We offer a 2 year warranty on labor and honor manufacturer warranties.

Is there a charge associated with estimates?

No, we never charge for estimates.

What are your appointment hours?

Our first appointment time is 930am, our last appointment for the day is 3:00pm. We try to schedule walk through appointments before or after our appointment hours when possible.

How do you charge?

For service calls we charge an hourly flat rate for the first hour and then by the quarter hour thereafter. If the issue is not capable of being fixed within the first 1-2 hours we communicate to the customer any additional time/material that will be necessary to fix the issue before moving forward. We are often able to give quotes on home inspection items via email if home inspection reports are sent to us. If a walk through appointment is necessary (or requested) we will deliver a detailed estimate of the exact cost associated with the work requested.

Do you provide drywall repairs, finished surface repairs, or painting?

No, we are electricians only. If we make cuts in ceilings or walls we make every attempt to do so meticulously and thoughtfully. We always attempt to cut sections and make a “rough patch”, meaning that we re-install the pieces with tape until a drywall contractor can come do final patching/painting.

What makes Volta so special?

Our employees that’s what! Our service and customer relationships could not meet our standards if we didn’t have employees that held those standards to the same level. We treat our employees as members of our family and expect them to treat our customers with that same level of respect.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We take checks or cash and accept all major credit cards.

Do you offer senior discounts, military discounts or teacher discounts?

Yes, we offer a 10% labor-only discount to all of the above, please request at time of scheduling!
